ToolVerve Privacy Policy: Tool Files Never Stored or Uploaded
Read the ToolVerve privacy policy. Tool files and inputs are never stored, logged, or uploaded to servers. All tool calculations run 100% locally inside your browser memory. Last updated: October 2026. This comprehensive Privacy Policy explains our commitment to client-side tool file isolation, user confidentiality, and transparent data handling practices across the entire ToolVerve platform.
1. Introduction & Core Privacy Principles
ToolVerve operates under a privacy-first architectural paradigm: we believe that everyday digital utilities—such as compressing a confidential contract PDF, resizing a private photo, formatting a proprietary JSON payload, or calculating a mortgage schedule—should never require transmitting your sensitive data to remote third-party servers.
Unlike traditional online converter services that upload user files to remote cloud storage clusters, ToolVerve executes computations directly within your browser memory (RAM) utilizing HTML5 standards, Web Workers, and WebAssembly (Wasm a fast binary code format allowing browsers to run calculations locally at near-native speed). With this architecture, your files and raw inputs do not touch our backend infrastructure or any external disk.
2. Zero Server Uploads & Local Device Processing
When you use any utility on ToolVerve, your device's CPU and GPU execute all cryptographic hashing, raster rendering, document compilation, and text transformations locally. Specifically:
- No File Storage: We do not operate remote file storage buckets, Amazon S3 repositories, or temporary upload caches. Files dragged into our tools remain in local volatile memory.
- Instant Garbage Collection: As soon as a conversion is finalized or the active browser tab is refreshed or closed, all allocated ArrayBuffer memory allocations (fixed-length binary data blocks held in browser RAM during processing) and Blob object URLs are permanently destroyed by your browser's native memory management engine.
- No Server Logs of Content: Because your data never crosses the network wire to our servers, our server infrastructure has zero visibility into your file contents, names, metadata, or extracted text.
3. Cookies, Consent Management & Advertising
To keep all 103 utilities completely free without requiring subscriptions or paywalls, ToolVerve partners with third-party advertising platforms, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors use cookies and web beacons to serve advertisements based on previous visits to our website or other sites across the internet.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its advertising network partners to present ads to users based on navigation history. In compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Google's EU User Consent Policy (supporting IAB TCF v2.2 the European advertising industry standard for communicating visitor consent choices), visitors from applicable regions are presented with a Consent Management Platform (CMP) banner powered by Google Funding Choices. This single unified banner controls both Google AdSense advertising cookies/personalization and Google Analytics 4 storage via Google Consent Mode v2 (a framework instructing Google tags whether permission was granted for ad and analytics storage).
You can opt out of personalized interest-based advertising at any time by configuring your preferences at Google Ads Settings or through the Network Advertising Initiative at youradchoices.com.
4. Optional Website Translation (Google Translate)
ToolVerve provides an optional translation feature powered by Google Translate, supporting 133+ languages. This feature is inactive until requested. When you choose to translate a webpage, the Google Translate script is loaded on demand, and the visible text content of the page is sent to Google's translation service to produce the translated text. Files, images, and documents processed within our tools are executed strictly within your browser and are never transmitted to Google Translate.
5. Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
ToolVerve uses Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-BF47WJKKRQ) to measure aggregate traffic trends, page views, country-level geographic distribution, and overall tool usage frequency. GA4 collects device specifications, browser environment details, and user interaction events. The site configures GA4 using only the basic tracking call window.gtag('config', 'G-BF47WJKKRQ') with no custom IP anonymization, custom user IDs, or specialized data retention parameters specified; data handling follows Google standard defaults.
Visitors Outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: For visitors located outside the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, no consent prompt is presented. In our code, Consent Mode defaults are scoped strictly to European regions, meaning gtag defaults to granted for visitors elsewhere. Analytics measurement and ad requests begin automatically as soon as the deferred script initializes upon first trusted user interaction (such as scrolling, clicking, or touching) or when the 6-second fallback timer elapses.
Visitors Inside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, our code sets default consent to denied for ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization before any script loads. These remain denied until the visitor gives affirmative consent through the Google Funding Choices banner.
Tool File Isolation: All files, text strings, and documents processed by ToolVerve utilities execute strictly in client-side browser memory and are never transmitted to Google Analytics or external servers. You can opt out of Google Analytics measurement at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and Global Privacy Laws
Under international privacy frameworks including the EU GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), users possess rights regarding personal data inspection, correction, and deletion. ToolVerve itself operates no user accounts, collects no email addresses, and stores zero records of files processed or text entered into our tools. Third-party services integrated on the site specifically Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and optional Google Translate collect and handle their own technical and telemetry data under their respective privacy policies and terms.
